Community Selling is a great way for your donors to support your organization. They can sell items on eBay through the eBay Giving Works program and donate part or the entire final sale price to your nonprofit. All you have to do is certify your organization with MissionFish to be added to the nonprofit directory.

Spread the word
Your key to success is to get the message out about this exciting way to raise funds for your cause. We encourage you to add links to and messaging about eBay Giving Works to your Web site, emails, newsletters, and other communications to your supporters. Free marketing tools are available through the eBay Giving Works Logo Request Form and the MissionFish site to assist you.
If you are conducting a broad appeal to your supporter base and are interested in promoting your Community Selling listings on the eBay Giving Works Home page in the Featured Nonprofits section, please send the following information to givingworks@ebay.com:
- Organization name
- Brief description of your outreach
- MissionFish Home page URL
- Organization logo in 100x100 size graphic

Receive your donations
Donations from the sales of eBay Giving Works items are collected and held by MissionFish until the sale is considered final. On the 20th day of the second month after the listing has closed, MissionFish distributes the gift to you via electronic funds transfer (EFT) and issues a tax receipt to the seller. There is a small deduction for processing costs associated with this service. To ensure that your organization receives a meaningful gift, the minimum donation amount for each eBay Giving Works sale is $5.
Request an item cancellation
When a seller lists an eBay Giving Works item to benefit your organization, MissionFish will notify you according to your account preferences. If you decide that you would not like to benefit from the sale of an item on eBay, you may use your MissionFish account to request that the listing be cancelled.
